On the 2nd of January 2007, Griffin Marine Travel opened its fourth UK office in Southampton following a seven year presence in the area servicing a major local client and in May 2008 was the first Griffin location to receive ISO 14001:2004 Environmental Certification.

Southampton has always been the UK´s principal Cruise Port and it is steadily expanding with substantial bulk and container terminals. This growth has been assisted by Southampton´s road and rail connections to the south of the country and beyond. The local International Airport also provides good connections within the UK and to continental Europe.

The office is managed by Ian Maylard-Mason, who has over 25 years experience with both Griffin and British Airways having successfully run the airline´s Marine Department for a number of years. Ian is ably assisted by a very competent and experienced team who have been dealing with both the Marine and Corporate travel of Griffin´s major clients for the last six or seven years.
