Griffin´s first venture in South America opened in Macaé in October 2004 and relocated to Niteroi in 2006. Through the Niteroi operation, Griffin extends our global office network, expertise and market leading service to South America, with specific focus on the marine and oil and gas industries. The office is a joint venture with local partner Pedro Mello Turismo, a leading Brazilian travel agency established for over twenty years, and is headed by General Manager, Carlos DeSousa who has over 18 years experience.
The Niteroi office is integrated real-time with the rest of Griffin´s global network, and as such offers seamless service to multi-national clients with interests in Brazil or elsewhere in South America. As well as the expected fluent Portuguese and English language capabilities, the team is also able to communicate with clients in French and Dutch.
