Griffin enlarged our US operation in September 2003 when the merger with the former franchisee of a major competitor created Griffin Americas. The Houston office is our US headquarters. Griffin is now firmly established as the leading specialist in marine and offshore transportation services in North America.
Houston is the largest US port. Our office offers a key servicing location for maritime organisations with activity in the port and the wider Gulf of Mexico, and likewise the huge oil and gas industry based in and around Houston. Griffin is headed in the US by Chief Executive Officer Robert B. Westendarp, an employee-shareholder and global Board member, who leads a large team of dedicated and experienced marine and offshore travel professionals. The office also offers the capability to service the corporate, leisure and meetings and incentives requirements of our marine and offshore clients.
