Our Durban office opened in September 2006. This followed a decision by Griffin to invest in South Africa to meet a demand to provide a local point of contact for Griffin´s existing international clients who have operations in the region. In the marine sector, South African ports are recognised as both important and convenient points for ships´ crew changes to take place. Griffin further believes that Africa represents good business potential in the offshore industry because of rapidly expanding personnel demands.
The office is headed by General Manager Pam Kitching together with Martin Wheeler, Sales Director, who has been with Griffin London for the last 13 years and will be heading the sales division of the office. The team deliver invaluable knowledge of local business practices and culture as well as many years of experience in the travel industry, which is in turn supplemented for our clients by the benefits of Griffin's global network of offices and specialist expertise in marine
and offshore travel.
