A new Griffin "First" in the Marine and Offshore Travel industry
ISO 14001 : 2004
On the 29th of May 2008, Griffin Marine Travel, Southampton, received ISO 14001: 2004 accreditation covering Environmental Management Certification, the first Marine and Offshore Travel Management Company to achieve this accolade in our industry. This is in addition to our existing ISO 9001: 2000 covering our Quality Management Process, which is at this stage accredited to over 20 Griffin locations.
ISO 14001 is a new programme for Griffin, and will be running parallel to our existing plan to have all 30 offices ISO accredited within the next 2 years.
Griffin has always strived to break new ground in the industry and is proud of its record of being consistently proactive and innovative, allied with sound processes, in meeting the needs of our local and global clients.
Achieving Environmental ISO Accreditation has had the effect of focusing our future thinking to always consider the environmental impact of any business decision. We want to adopt a responsible approach to benefit future generations and the world we all live in.
